Big Problems Require Bigger Solutions

We call it the ‘Mega Baby’ — and for good reason.

The ICABUS 20 is our newest fine sieve model, boasting a massive 20 m² of sieve area. It’s built to handle the most demanding conditions, especially in the early phases of flow — like first flush events, where solids and organics peak dramatically.

– Treatment Capacity: 1,500 m³/hr at 300 ppm TSS

– TSS Reduction: Up to 80%

– Solids Handling: Removes up to 18,000 kg/hr of wet pulp

– Continued Flow: Still treats 625 m³/hr even under peak solids load

– Brush Design: Dual brushes for robust performance under high loads

– Integrated Process: No need for separate sand trap or fat removal systems

Thinking Bigger: Our First 32-Unit In-Channel ICABUS Project

For an international tender, we asked ourselves a bold question

Can we make ICABUS work at ultra-large scale without losing its core advantages?

The answer is here — our first 32-unit ICABUS installation, grouped in 8 blocks of 4, all operating in a single, integrated channel.

Please note: This project has not yet been implemented but has been submitted as a proposal as part of the tendering process.

Key Highlights:

– Single Flow Channel: For both feed and filtrate — minimal hydraulic resistance (0.2–0.3 m water head)

– Block Modularity: Each block runs independently; allows for redundancy and easy maintenance

– Compact Footprint: Centralized design with minimal operational complexity

– Power Efficiency: Just 6.4 kW total for all 32 units

– Integrated Pre-Treatment: Still no need for sand or fat removal — all handled in-line
